Chester, Cheshire and North Wales Sugarcraft Guild
We are a not-for-profit branch of the national organisation “The British Sugarcraft Guild”, dedicated to the promotion of cake decorating and sugarcraft.
Members include enthusiastic hobby cake makers and cake decorators, who all have in common a love of sugar craft and a desire to both share knowledge, improve existing, and learn new skills, in a happy friendly atmosphere.
We meet monthly in Chester on the third Tuesday of each month and strive to have a very varied programme of sugar craft skills both demonstrated and at group workshops.
Membership is open to all irrespective of experience, and visitors/new members are very welcome. All meetings are insured, and we operate in accordance with data protection rules.
Free refreshments are provided, free car parking and materials*. (*For full day workshops or some special workshops i.e. chocolate evenings there will be a small charge).
There is a meeting attendance fee of £5.00 for BSG Members and £7.50 non-members. The first visit for non BSG members is free. Young people 18 years and under can join the “cygnets” group, attendance fee is £2.50. There is an annual branch joining fee for BSG members, payable annually in September of £10.00 (or pro-rata of £5.00 in March).
